Thank you for coming here to learn more about me and Connect 2 Thrive. I provide therapeutic interventions that are grounded in attachment theory, neuroscience and interpersonal neurobiology.

I work from a  person-centred model, focusing on the needs of the individuals, whilst providing care that is respectful and responsive. 

I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, with advanced clinical training in Child Centered Play Therapy, Filial Therapy (child parent play therapy), AutPlay, Interpersonal Neurobiology and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR). 

My career expands over 20 years having worked in the education system, non for profit organisations in case management and clinical intervention programs, public health and the private sector delivering services to NDIS participants in Behaviour Support and Early Years Intervention. I specialise in supporting those who have experienced trauma, with my approach recognising and emphasising how traumatic experience impacts the child's mental, behavioural, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.

This is also the case for adults who have experienced significant and prolonged traumatic events.  

My aim is to support not only a child, but also the systems around the child. When I connect with families, my aim is to truly listen to and feel the experience for the family, as well as see that through the eyes of child/ren. It is here that I can come to understand the multilayer experience, as we enter into a therapeutic relationship.
