Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and Connect to Thrive.
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 20 years’ experience providing therapy and counselling in Yarrawonga and online across Australia, supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and person-centred practice, integrating attachment theory, neuroscience, and interpersonal neurobiology. I recognise the deep connection between the mind, brain, and body, and how our experiences—especially those involving stress, adversity, or trauma—can shape how we feel, respond, and relate to others.
I provide Focused Psychological Strategies (FPS) under Medicare, offering evidence-based therapeutic support for a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, grief and loss and life challenges.
My work may include:
Therapy is always tailored to the individual.
We work at your pace, in a way that feels safe, supportive, and manageable.
Across my career, I have worked in:
I have extensive experience supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including complex and developmental trauma, and understand how these experiences can impact emotional wellbeing, behaviour, relationships, identity, and daily functioning across the lifespan.
While I support people across all stages of life, I also bring a strong understanding of family systems and relational dynamics.
When supporting children and families, I take time to understand the broader context—listening deeply to both the child’s experience and the experiences of those who care for them.
This allows for a more connected and meaningful approach, supporting not only the individual, but the relationships around them.
Choosing a therapist is an important and personal decision.
At Connect to Thrive, you can expect:
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step.
My aim is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported to make sense of your experiences—so you can move toward greater connection, regulation, and wellbeing.
I am available at request, to facilitate COS-P for organisations.
